Posting Ads/Events

  • 2. The information in the advertisement must be true and complete

We consider it a gross violation of Bazaar's rules to include any information in an ad that could be misleading about your product or the terms of your offer.

This also means that the ad must include an up-to-date phone number where you can be reached.

If your offer is required by law to contain any information, you must include it.

You are solely responsible for distributing an advertisement that lacks mandatory information or contains false information.

  • 3. The ad must fit the categories on Bazaar

Place ads only for items for which there is a thematic category on Bazaar. Do not place ads for donation, ordering services, collecting material aid, dating, finding, losing, buying or searching.

Exceptions: you can place an ad about buying real estate only in the category «Real Estate», an ad about finding a job or an employee - only in the category «Job»

Ads can be placed within one category using only one profile (including if you are acting within the same company or joint business, family or for the benefit of your acquaintances).

You may not post multiple items in a single ad unless they form a set or fit within the same category. This means that you can offer a fishing rod and a diving suit in the same ad, but you cannot offer a car for going fishing in it. If there are multiple items matching the same category in an ad, there must be a cost for each item.

  • 4. The offer must be specific, existing, and relevant

Place ads for a specific existing product that has consumer value. For example, on Bazaar you can not sell a hole from a bagel or rent an apartment on the planet Saturn.

If you advertise a product for sale - you must have the product in stock, if you advertise a service - you must be ready to provide it, if you advertise a rental property - you must be ready to give it to the tenant, etc. We may allow the listing of pre-order items, including from overseas, and items that are about to go on sale.

In some categories, you may indicate that there are multiple items available and note in the description the exact quantity of the item available. If you do not specify a quantity, the item is considered to be in stock.

Keep your Bazaar profile up to date with the number of items in stock. An ad may be removed from publication, unless otherwise provided by the rules or in the Bazaar interface. Withdrawal of an ad from publication due to out of stock is equivalent to its withdrawal from publication by the user. If the item is still in stock, update the information about its quantity in your Bazaar profile.

Do not post ads for items sold through auction or bidding.

If you have sold an item or your offer is no longer relevant for other reasons, remove the ad from publication as soon as possible. Do not change the content of a previously posted ad. This includes not uploading a photo of another item or property. For a new offer, create a new ad.

The maximum time limit for posting an ad is 30 days.

Do not place ads without the purpose of concluding a deal for the exact product listed in the ad (fictitious ads). It is forbidden to place ads for the purpose of lead generation - obtaining contact information of potential buyers. In test mode, enhanced checks of the relevance of ads to identify fictitious ones are being conducted.

Remember that placing an advertisement may obligate you to the potential buyer to conclude and execute a transaction in accordance with the law.

Do not place information of a general advertising nature without a specific offer. Placement of ads on Bazaar is made for the purpose of informing users about the possibility and conditions of transactions. The ads themselves, as well as the information contained in them, are not aimed at forming and maintaining interest in a particular person, his goods or services.

  • 5. It is forbidden to place repeated ads

You may only place one valid ad for one product.

This means that you cannot place repeated ads (duplicate ads) for the same product in different cities or neighborhoods, or in different categories.

It will also be considered a duplicate ad if you place a generic ad for multiple items and then place separate ads for the same items.

If the product characteristics specified in the ads match, the later ad is considered a duplicate ad and may be blocked.

We consider placing repeated ads (duplicates) as a gross violation of Bazaar rules. In case of repeated or malicious violations we may restrict access to your Bazaar profile.

    Exceptions:

You may post multiple listings for the same offer available in multiple cities.

You also may not post repeated ads (duplicate ads) for the same item using multiple profiles (including if you operate under the same company or joint business).
